Seminar Classroom Media Suite
Laptop Computer Required

This is a picture of the most recent design of Liberal Arts ITS seminar room style media console.

This type of seminar media classroom has one data projector, one screen, and a small rack-mounted suite of equipment designed to be used with a personal laptop computer connected to the display system. The suite is touch-screen controlled with the following A-V equipment: a VCR/DVD player, and a Document Camera. Features include a Fast Ethernet web connection, and 120v AC power.

A video overview of general console use can be found at the Center for Instructional Technologies website. Although the example console depicted in the video is an older iteration, the DVD/VCR and Document Camera functions described are available in this room.

No Key needed for this console

The Seminar Style console does not require a key as do other console designs.

Professors, graduate student faculty, and qualified presenters who wish to access older equipment, as well, may obtain a key well in advance of their presentation by visiting Mezes Hall Room 2.302, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M.
